"Beware of dog" signs

I like creative ideas. People often put signs on their fences for no trespassing - most of them aren't very special but there are a few that would make everybody laugh . Here are nice examples:





Do you have a "beware of dog" sign on your fence?

 

Here are 2 of my favorites. I used to have one that said "I can make it to the fence in 2.5 seconds. Wanna race?" and a bumper sticker that said "My pitbull is smarter than your honor roll student".

I would put that up on my fence next to the dog in yard sign that I never take down. Originally I was really good about it and would flip the sign over when my dogs weren't in the yard. Now I rather keep people guessing which is horrible but I find that things no longer go missing out of my yard.

 

We have not have a beware of dog sign in our gate but they can immediately know it since our dog barks whenever he hears the metal gate (no matter who comes in) or just saw someone is standing nears the gate.

 

I don't have any signs on my fence either - Homer is so small and really not dangerous, he would probably make the burglar laugh

Here is an adorable sign, as an owner of a very small dog, maybe I should get one :

 

Those are too funny! Those are some great ideas and would probably work well. People would probably be laughing too hard to be scared. I'm sure they would be laughing from a distance though!

My Homer is strictly non-vegetarian too. Today he tried to eat our new postman but the postman managed to escape. I'm not sure if he'll ever come back though

And if you want a humorous one? Here's something you might put on your fence... and we could replace the picture with a tiny chihuahua. Just place a P.S. sign saying "Warning: You will die a painful death by getting tickle tortured."

Nice dog signs. I'm pretty sure that it is now a legal requirement in the UK to have a "Beware of the Dog" sign on the gate. Many actually put them up even if they don't in the hopes it might deter any unwanted visitors.

John Lennon, yes of Beatles fame, had a large rambling house and grounds on the outskirts of Ascot in the days before he permanently moved to the States. As you drove through the gates you were met by a large painted sign.
"Beware Man Eating Dogs Loose". Whether it was the sign, or the 220lb 6ft 5" chauffeur, come gardener come bodyguard who resided in the small cottage just inside the entrance I don't know, but I never heard of any trespassing or burglaries taking place.

 

In my country it's not a a legal requirement yet to put these signs but many people put them anyway. They're rarely as funny as these that we post here though.
I'm not surprised that the sign "Beware Man Eating Dogs Loose" scared off the trespassers
