If you've ever wondered how much your little doggie runs around, then you may really love this. It doesn't seem to have a price yet. It's called the wandant, though, and comes from the Japanese word for a dog's bark (wan wan which is similar to woof woof) and pendant.

This is great! I'm very curious how much my Homers runs:D My father has a regular pedometr and he always has it with him when he takes Homer for a walk. I don't remeber the exact number, but they've made many steps together already:p

I love gadgets so checked out to see if it's offered up on eBay. No joy yet as you mentioned no price.
I guess I should concentrate on myself getting the exercise.

Nope! It's because they haven't actually released the product yet. Once they release it, I'm sure you'll find some on Ebay almost instantly. People like to snatch things like this up and post them at slightly higher prices on Ebay. Or they'll buy them as gifts and then resell them cheaper, which is even more favorable.

Just had a look at the technology involved in the device. Seems like quite a sophisticated piece of equipment. Certainly not a mere toy anymore.

Incidentally, the Japanese word for "woof woof" which is "wan wan" is almost the same as the Chinese word for "woof woof' except that in Chinese it comes out as "wang wang". Maybe the Chinese and Japanese dogs bark with a different voice from western dogs.
