We celebrate Christmas. I have always bought a little present for whatever dog I had just to add to the festivities. Sierra loved to open hers.

Misha hasn't figured out the opening. However, she is fully aware of which one is hers. My Mom bought a toy for her with other stuff. When she put the bag on the floor with the other presents, Miss Nosey was it trying to get her present! Last year, she camped out in front of her presents under the tree. She didn't bother them, though she did take the paper off of someone else's. It was cute watching her waiting by them.

Do you buy presents for your dog for holidays or birthdays? Does your dog get excited about them?

We always brought our dogs small presents too. Normally a new dog toy and some special treats from the pet store. :) My mum used to unwrap our dogs presents infront of them and they'd actually get excited seeing a new squeaky toy or stuffed animal. They would pick up their new toys and start playing with them straight away, sometimes shaking their toys side to side and running around the room with them.

Yep, we do! He usually gets a new toy, like his Christmas hedgehog:

I don't know what it is about hedgehogs, but he loves them!

The usual present for our dogs for Christmas is that, they could eat the foods we will be eating for the holidays. LOL
They could have a part of the spaghetti or pancit, chicken (meat), rolls and pastries. They get excited about the feast. :p

I always buy Homer Christmas and birthday gifts!:D I have to open them for him because otherwise he would eat the bag:p . Usually, I buy him special treats: a big bone or something like this. He already has lots and lots of toys so he doesn't need more of them - especially since he prefers to play with cones:)
