    Awesome, right?

So can your dog fish? Have you ever had him/her in a place to try? Do you think s/he would be able to or would avoid the water instead?

Holy guacamole! I have seen bears fish like that. I have never seen a dog do it.

My dog is an expert at catching insects. I don't know about fish. Knowing Misha as I do, I suspect she would run if the fish got too close. She isn't exactly the bravest dog in the world.

Poor fish...:( This dog is fast! My Homer wouldn't get in the water even if there was his beloved food. He hates water. He bites me when I bath him and he refuses to go for a walk when the sidewalks are wet after the rain:p .

Lol! I thought ours was the only one that didn't like to get his paws wet either. He will sometimes do it intentionally when he's messing with the pond. He really, really doesn't want to go out in the rain, though, or after the rain and before the sun dries it up.

I don't know if my dog can fish like this one. I do know that the dogs I have now don't seem to be bothered by water or getting wet. In fact, one of them likes to get in his water pan to cool his feet in the summer time. One of my dogs prior to these two Buddy I hated getting wet and he didn't like getting his paws muddy. Fortunately he was a very small dog so my brother could always pick him up.

After the rain my Homer always wants me to carry him until we get to the park and when we are there, I have to put him under the biggest tree where the grass is sufficiently dry:p

That's an extremely clever dog. Neither one of mine could do that, the most Sherlock would do, is bat it about in the water like a toy, and think it was there as a friend. He's that kind of dog. Lily would likely accidentally chomp it, and then drop it and cock her head to one side. She's a lovely animal, but she's not really sure what to do with stuff she isn't used to.

Holly Molly again. o_O I've never seen anything like it. Mishka does run up and down the beach chasing waves and will also snap at water coming from the end of a watering hose but I'm not sure if she could catch a fish.
