Happiness is...

I thought it might be fun to do this little game. Fill in the "Happiness is..." with something that your dog has done or does that brings you happiness.

Mine for today is practical. Happiness is...a tired dog. We had a family birthday party last night at our house. Misha loves these affairs. I am pretty sure she thinks everyone came over to see her. She flitted around from family member to family member getting attention.

Today, she was exhausted. After our morning walk, she climbed in her tent and slept for a good hour or so. She has a been a quiet and mellow dog all day long. She's very content.

 

"A tired dog is a happy dog." So true

Happiness is me getting through the walk with all of the dogs feeling exhausted after a jog in the entire subdivision TOGETHER!

I have mentioned of Buchi's aggression issues so it's quite refreshing when they survive without any confrontational moments during our walks (jogs to be exact). I am also happy when I see Buchi too tired to bark excessively at Whitey because of these exercises.

 

Lovely thread, Melody. For me happiness is...a dog wagging his tail when he sees me. It always puts me in a good mood and I'm ready to play with him even when I'm tired
