This sounds serious and needs a vet visit immediately. Recurring yellowing in dogs is called jaundice and usually signals liver, kidney, or blood related issues. The fact that it keeps coming back every few weeks is a red flag that something underlying is not being treated. Please do not wait on this one.

definitely get bloodwork done as soon as possible. jaundice that cycles like that is usually the liver struggling to keep up. it could be something like a bile duct issue, a toxin exposure, or even leptospirosis depending on where you live. the vet will likely do a full panel to rule things out. hope he recovers quickly.
