Homer is my little treasure, I love him so much! He is 7 years old Yorkshire Terrier, adorable and cheerful. And very naughty but this it's part of his charm. The photo is a little bit old but it's my favourite photo of him - I have it on my desk - and he still looks the same.

Yeah he is very cute. My mum has a yorkshire terrier and loves him so much because he only requires little walks and can sit on her lap. He also eats less, of course, because it's a smaller mouth to feed than my larger sheep dog.

With Homer it's not as easy even though he is very little too. He can eat all day long, he seems to think he is a very big dog. So it's quite expensive to buy him food. Also, he loves to walk! My family and I, we need to take him for at least 4 walks a day, because otherwise he is clearly unhappy. He spends most of the time walking in the park.

Take care not to overfeed Homer. Ensure he has two regulated meals per day. I had a dog that was overweight and became diabetic. It was not much fun injecting her twice a day with insulin.

Thank you for your advice. I feel so sorry for your dog, it must have been terrible:( . Homer eats three meals after his walks, they're not very big, and between meals he eats only vegetables, he especially loves carrot. We weigh him every month, so I hope he'll be healthy. I can't imagine how hard it must be to have to inject a beloved dog.

What a cute dog! He looks very happy. We were looking at Yorkshires but went with a Shih Tzu. It's good that your dog likes to walk! Ours is about 10 years old and she has trouble going up and down the stairs.

After you described Homer I had to come and check him out. He looks so perfectly behaved in this photo.
