    Buddy is so cute!:D It's wonderful that your mother took care of him, I really don't understand how some people are able to just leave a pet like your passed friend's family wanted to. I hope Buddy will be very happy with your family:)

    Aw poor guy. I wonder if he understands what happened with his old family. But I'm really glad your mom decided to care for him. A lot better than dying in the pound. How old is he?

    I am so happy for Buddy. Being sent to the pound, in many cases, is somewhat like being sent to Death Row. One thing has puzzled me for some time. It's this thing about toys. I know some of my dogs hoard their toys, too. I wonder what the dogs actually think about the toys. Toys are not food, for sure.

    He's 13, but still acts like a puppy!

    They probably just see them as fun things. Ones like mine seem to have a more personal connection to them, so maybe it's a comfort thing, too?
