Should They Be Put Down..

    I think the kids should have been put down.
    I think they only put the dog down because of the stigma against the breed, and it really isn't deserved at all. The kids trespassed and at that point anything that happened would be there fault. Then they attacked a dog with a stick, which caused the dog to react.

    Parents, start being parents, and don't blame other people for the crap your bratty little kids do. Instead of punishing those around the kids, punish the kids and teach them things like don't trespass, don't hit dogs, and don't be little brats.
