I honestly hope he'll never catch a rat! Rats are terrifying creatures.
I'm sure you won't be disappointed if you get a Yorkshire Terrier. They're the sweetest little dogs. A Yorkie won't let you be bored;)

I heard that rats are dangerous. They carry many diseases and they're very aggressive. Did your schnauzer get hurt?:( I bet it's not easy to kill a rat.

Yes, they are nasty, but schnauzers have a strong instinct that always leads them to then. My old Schnauzer never got hurt (that I know of), but I think that is why they have a dense beard (it protects them from the rat bites). I think they are born knowing how to kill rats, it's in their blood ;)

I believe it's in Yorkies' blood too. This is why they're so fast, agile and aggressive towards most animals. But I hope Homer will never find a real rat. He's so tiny!

Yes, terriers have it in their blood, that is why having small pets, specially any kind of vermin. Rats are nasty :/ My parents set a few traps when I was little in the new house, we came back a few days later, there was an half alive rat... and some of his buddies were eating it.

That's horrible:eek::eek: I'm glad I've never seen a rat in person. They sound like the worst creatures on Earth:(
I don't let Homer play with any small animals like rodents or kittens. I don't want him to hurt them.

Yeah, they can be very vicious if they're hungry. That is why I am so afraid of them! I have seen them face to face on several occasions, they are creepy, but veeery smart animals!

I heard they're very smart. This is the main reason why I hope Homer will never meet a rat. He's an intelligent dog, but he's spontaneous and doesn't think. When something makes him angry, he just attacks.

Yeah, actually we had an incident with a rat 3 years ago... turns out they know how to dive and hold their breathe. This happened:

It was a tiny rat... I had no idea this rat had made it to the bathroom. So I went to pee, didn't even check the bathroom (because... hey I wasn't expecting to see a rat there, lol!), it was dark... then I felt something splashed me ewwwwwwwww!! I looked down and it was a tiny rat!!! The horror.... had to go to the doctor and a specialist... she told me not to worry about rabies. I had to use an ointment... and antibiotics for 14 days.

:eek::eek: This is terrifying! I can't imagine what you went through. It must have been awful! I think I'd faint if a rat came out of my toilet:eek::eek::eek: Now, I'll be scared of going to the bathroom. What happened to that rat? Did you catch it?

My dad came home and killed it :confused::confused: As far as I know the rat didn't bite me, but not sure if it could have scratched me, because later I could see a tiny mark of fresh blood in my underwear :eek::eek: So I had to see a doctor... she gave me some meds, I saw a specialist on this kind of issues too, rabies wasn't an issue, thankfully. But I had to take antibiotics and also an antibiotic ointment.... I had flu like symptoms after that for a while :eek::eek:

I like the huge ropes with the huge knot in the middle. It's always been a hit with all my dogs. They can't chew it to pieces in one day, and the LOVE tug of war. They'll play it with each other and with anyone else who's willing lol
