I just wanted to share this funny article I read in one of the books I own. Some breeds just don't cut it to being great date baits. Here are a list of them.

    1. Chinese Crested. This is a funny one. I find Cresties cute. Unfortunately, not all of us do. Because it doesn't have fur and only little tufts of hair on them, some have admitted to calling them little aliens. Also, the Chinese Crested is often a worthy contender in the "World's Ugliest Dog Contest"

    2. Tiny Yapping Dogs. Cute as they may seem, some people just don't like noisy little "critters".

    3. Rottweiler and Pit Bulls. Gentle and sweet as they are, these two breeds often get a bad rap.

    4. Dogs with weird hairdos. Poodles are often the victims of silly hairdos. Shih Tzus too... but not so often. Anyway, even with much admiration on a dog show standpoint, some people still find them silly looking.

Well, that's all for now. Credits go to Doglopedia for this list.

We call them "noisy oversized rats." :p

I think that number 3 is rather unfortunate, but I understand where it comes from. Sometimes you just have to give them a couple minutes to prove how sweet and cuddly they are.

Oh, I know something about number 2. Tiny Yapping Dogs:p . Whenever my love and I decide to go for a walk and we take Homer with us, he barks all the time because he wants all the attention. He can ruin every romantic moment:p . And when we are holding hands he jumps because he is trying to bite my boyfriend's hand:eek:

I agree that number 3 sounds unfortunate for those breeds. I believe that dogs no matter what breed can be gentle or dangerous depends how they are trained or how they are taken cared of.
