I got engaged for almost two years now. The wedding had been postponed many times due to my fiance's job. We've always had a long distance relationship, he's from the US and I'm from the Philippines. We haven't seen each other personally for more than a year now. But our love remains the same, and our situation just makes us stronger. I need to understand the nature of his job and I do, I love him with all my heart

I am married, my husband and I have been together going on 21 years and married for 19 years.

I am, at the moment, in what some may call the blissful state of wifelessness. I hope the situation will change before I become to like it this way too much.

 

I’m happily single. No boyfriend since birth. Nyahaha! But I’ve fallen in love several times and almost had a relationship with those guys but somehow, I chose to remain single. I guess I’m not ready to get into something serious because there’s so many things I want to do that having a partner may hamper it or I’ll be unfair to my partner because surely, I wouldn’t be able to give him the love and time he deserve. Anyhow, I’m happy and full of plans because some of my daily creed includes, “Seize the day!”, “Live life to the fullest!” and “Live green!”

 

Are you really sure that you want to go it alone all the way? There are times when the going gets better if you have someone to help you over the rough parts.

 

It’s just not in my mind right now probably because I haven’t met or maybe I already missed the right person for me. Sure there are rough times but when your faith is strong, whatever it is, it can be surpassed. Oh well, Christmas season is colder and Valentine’s Day somehow became meaningless when you don’t have a partner but it’s only when you think or other people made you think that you should have one even when you’re happy and contented even without one.

 

I got married in May this year Ian (the other admin on this site) and I have been together since we met at university in March 2003.

I love that Picture! It looks like you guys were having so much fun. I am currently in a relationship. I am off away in college so I guess you can call it a long distance relationship. I am so happy that it is working out because we had doubts in the beginning.

I got you beat. We have been engaged for 5 years now! Mainly because I want us to both have stable jobs so we can afford a good wedding and a nice place. We also just had a child so that had caused us to have to push the wedding back. I did not want to go down the aisle pregnant lol.

 

I am very happily married! My husband and have been together for 16 years and married for 15! We've had our ups and downs but I am very pleased that we stuck it out and I think the worst is over!

 

Nice to know you are happily married and it was going strong. It was not common now to have such steady marriage life and more power for both of you.

 

Wow!I admire couples who smoothen the rough times and stay in love and stick together no matter what, really inspiring. Maybe since it’ll be Valentine soon you can share with us your love story. I’m a sucker for romance stories. Haha!
