Your relationship status

It's really quite poetic! We've known each other since we were kids. You see our parents all ran around together but he was older than me and didn't give me much thought. Until we were in our thirties and going through divorces and he moved in with his sister who lived down the street from me. A little over a year later we were married!

 

I am single, married 20 years, divorced for 32 years and my ex husband is deceased also, so I feel like a divorced widow. They say if you don't remarry within 5 years of divorce, chances are you never will, and it was true in my case. Now, I love being alone and single so much, I could never get married again. I had a boyfriend on and off for 10 years between ages 57 and 67 and thought about it, but I escaped!
